Farm Sanctuary is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the exploitation of animals for food production. They currently operate two shelters for abused and neglected farmed animals – a 175 acre farm in Watkins Glen, NY and a 300 acre farm in Orland, CA. They administer educational campaigns aimed at alerting consumers to the manner in which agribusiness produces and markets food.
