This is an informal co-ed group of adults who meet regularly to go hiking. The hikes typically range from 3-9 miles in length, or 2-4 hours, timewise. There are about 30-50 new members each month. Membership is diverse, some of are pretty experienced, speedy, “trail blazer” hiking types, while others prefer to walk at a slower pace.
There is no per hike fee or yearly membership fee to join the group. They hike on public trails around the Contra Costa County area.
