A national citizens’ organization working for clean, safe and affordable water, prevention of health-threatening pollution, creation of environmentally safe jobs and businesses, and empowerment of people to make democracy work. CWA focuses on community participation in environmental politics and electing environment-friendly representatives at the local, state and national levels. Clean Water Fund is a 501c3 organization that focuses on research and education to promote the public interest with a special emphasis on water issues. The two organizations often collaborate on campaigns and share staff and office space.
