City of Berkeley Camps Programs

City of Berkeley offers summer camp programs such as the Tuolumne Family Camp in the Stanislaus National Forest near Yosemite as well as Summer Day Camps in Tilden Regional Park and at the Berkeley Marina (6-13 year olds). Berkeley Day Camp is an outdoor experience for children with a small community atmosphere. Our goal is to give campers a wholesome, supportive opportunity to have fun, develop group skills, have new experiences and feel good about themselves. Echo Lake Camp is nestled on top of a beautiful 7,400 ft. Sierra mountaintop, overlooking Lake Tahoe. This spectacular location provides campers with stunning views and a place to relax, explore, and rejuvenate! We have tent cabins, bathrooms, hot showers, basketball, badminton, a crafts lodge, horseshoes, fire circle, a large heated swimming pool, and a soothing hot outdoor Jacuzzi. Three hot family-style meals are provided each day.
Berkeley Tuolumne Family Camp is located on the south fork of the Tuolumne River and has 74 tent cabins with community bathrooms nearby. The staff provides
social, nature, and athletic programs for all ages, including hiking, nature studies, and multi-cultural crafts. Three hot family-style meals are provided each day.
