Empowers youth with knowledge and skills for environmental leadership. Caretakers/USA reaches out to high school students and teachers with diverse interests and abilities; involves them in community action; and develops a spirit of national and international cooperation required for environmental problem solving. These activities improve science education, encourage young people to pursue scientific and environmental careers, and develop citizens who want to protect the world’s environment.
