We Have New Job Openings in Our Climate, Farmers’ Market, and Development Programs

We have added three more job postings to our list of open positions: Climate Action Coordinator, Farmers’ Market Program Manager, and we’ve re-opened our search for a Development Director. It’s rare that we have so many positions open, across our organization, with a range from entry-level to senior management.   1. DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

    The Ecology Center is a membership organization built on direct services, strong community connections, face-to-face client engagement, on-line communications, strong administration, and deep organizational relationships. We are seeking a Development Director who can lead a quantum leap in turning our engagement into membership growth, thereby increasing our organizational capacity to achieve ambitious goals.

  2. FARMERS’ MARKET PROGRAM MANAGER

    The Farmers’ Market Program Manager works under the supervision of the Food and Farming Program Director to oversee all Ecology Center Farmers’ Markets activities. The Farmers’ Market Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all market operations as well as directly managing the Tuesday and Saturday Farmers’ Markets. This is a full-time position with a Tuesday through Saturday workweek which involves approximately 19 hours at market and 21 hours in the office every week.

  3. CLIMATE ACTION COORDINATOR

    The Climate Change Action Coordinator leads and develops the Ecology Center’s activities focused on helping the local population prevent and prepare for climate change. The Climate Change Action Coordinator facilitates and convenes the Berkeley Climate Action Coalition and Steering Committee, collaborates with local and regional allies on shared climate change goals and projects, and works with Ecology Center program staff to develop and deliver climate content and services.
