Last week, we shared a message about the EPA’s new standards for power plant emissions under the Clean Air Act. The Supreme Court also stepped up this month to defend the agency, when it refused to hear challenges to EPA findings that carbon dioxide and other pollutants endanger our health. The move by the Supreme Court bolsters the EPA’s ability to enact strong standards, as it is poised to do with power plants, the largest source of greenhouse gas pollution.
