The Senate Energy Committee is voting today, June 23rd on AB 2145. If passed, the bill would make it harder for local renewable energy programs to get started, securing the monopoly existing utilities hold on our energy services. A “no” vote at this committee would stop it in its tracks. The vote will be at 3 PM, and until then, we urge more calls and support to tell the Chair of the Energy Committee, Senator Alex Padilla (916-651-4020) to vote “NO” on AB 2145.
