Join us for a day on the farm as we visit two of the farms that make the Ecology Center markets so special. We will meet at the Ecology Center offices before carpooling to the Petaluma area. While there we will visit Tara Firma Farm, a women-run, integrated farming operation that raises both animals and vegetables on 250 acres and La Tercera, a one-woman operation specializing in unusual French and Italian varieties of produce. Bring your own lunch, warm clothing, and comfortable shoes. Meets at 9:45 at the Ecology Center, 2530 San Pablo Ave, near Dwight Way, Berkeley. Open to current Ecology Center members only. Space is limited. Registration required.
