California’s severe drought reminds us it’s time to get serious about water conservation. Get the information and inspiration you need at our tour of the EcoHouse, Sunday, April 6th, from 10 – 1 PM.
Join us for an in-depth slide show and presentation on water ecology and innovative water recycling solutions. Learn ways to turn your home and yard into a water-saving site with greywater systems, rainwater catchment, earthworks, and water-wise landscaping.
Tour the EcoHouse’s water features including rain water catchment and the first residentially permitted wetlands/greywater system in CA. We will discuss the principles and process of safely irrigating with shower, bathroom sink, and laundry waste water. Return home with ideas for your own site!
About the teacher: Babak Tondre is co-founder of the EcoHouse project and is a general contractor, ecological designer, educator and greywater specialist.
