Cider Summit Berkeley is happening this Saturday, 4/26/14 from 12 – 6 PM, in Civic Center Park next to our Saturday Farmers’ Market. Presented by Whole Foods Market, this event will benefit the Ecology Center and the Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research.
The Cider Summit will feature approximately 90 ciders from throughout the U.S., England, Scotland, France, Spain, and perhaps others. The owners and cidermakers will be on hand to inform and guide guests through the samplings which will be available in 4-ounce portions. The event will also feature specially selected food pairings from Whole Foods, a “Dog Lounge” hosted by the Berkeley Humane and an event store featuring Cider Summit t-shirts and other merchandise. This event is 21 and over only. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 (cash only, if tickets remain) at the door and are available online here.
