Local cheesemaker and homesteader K. Ruby Blume will be celebrating the launch of her book with goat milking and cheesemaking demonstrations, Q & A and a homemade cheese taste-off.
Bring your homemade dairy and vegan cheeses for tasting, compare notes with other local cheesemakers or simply join in the fun! Copies of the book will be available to purchase. Cheese-lovers of all types welcome, this book covers both dairy and vegan cheeses. It’s also a great event to support those taking the challenge for Plastic-Free July, since homemade cheesemaking can be one solution to plastic-wrapped store-bought cheese.
