Volunteers and interns contribute greatly to the Ecology Center’s programs and services. If you are interested in volunteering with us, click here to complete the volunteer application or stop by the Ecology Center (2530 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA) to fill out a hard copy. EcoHouse Garden Day

Location: EcoHouse, 1305 Hopkins Street, Berkeley CA 94702 (enter via garden entrance on Peralta Ave, around the corner just past the Karl Linn Community Garden)
Volunteer Time: Saturday, November 21st ~ 2pm-5pm

Event Description: Help us tend the garden at the EcoHouse! Bring your friends – everyone is welcome. Dress for the weather as the event is outside. Bring a hat and water bottle. Gardener Paloma will be there to lead the day’s projects.

If you’re not able to make it out to a work day at the Ecology Center’s EcoHouse garden, we encourage you to spend time volunteering at one of the following community gardens. Drop in during any of the hours below to get your hands in the soil, meet neighbors and learn how to grow your own garden. You can even pick up free organic produce at some of the locations!
