It is surprising San Francisco would pay for a resource that only serves less than half of one percent of their taxpayers. Couldn't the millions used to support Sharp Park [water, repairs, legal liabilities, annual operating losses] be better spent on social programs in the City?

As a longtime Pacifica resident, I am looking forward to the day when Sharp Park property is transferred to the Golden Gate National Rec area for restoration.

A desirable restoration scenario is at www.restoresharppark.org
