EPA Honors Cargill-Dow for Bio-plastics (June 26, 2002)

Unfortunately the EPA does not consider the incredibly unethical and anti-environmental things that large firms like Dow and Cargill do. Dow has produced some of the world's most dangerous chemical products and pesticides, and Cargill is guilty of "buying up" the world food supply through corporate monopoly. This is not to mention the use and promotion of Genetically Modified-Organisms (GMO's), which numerous third world groups oppose. Moreover, Dow has recently been criticized by our colleagues for another issue-- poor labor relations (see below).
