Busalacchi Farms

Busalacchi Farms is a family owned and operated fresh cherry growing and packing company. Busalacchi Farms has many different cherry varieties that ensure a long growing season, which is perfect for accommodating farmers’ markets. Many of the varieties they grow would be considered heirloom, as the ranch was planted over 100 years ago by Marc Busalacchi’s great grandmother, Caterina Demattei. Caterina emigrated from a small town in Italy to start the farm, and her American dream. Marc Busalacchi and his wife, Renee, both graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where they majored in Agribusiness with concentrations in Marketing. They take pride in their exemplary presentations at farmers’ markets, and in carrying on the family farming tradition.
