Vegetable Gardening 101: Planning and Planting Your First Garden

Do you want to start a vegetable garden? Not quite sure where to begin? In this informative beginner’s class, Master Gardener David Blood will cover veggie garden fundamentals such as site selection and preparation, sun requirements and garden bed orientation. Attendees will learn how to assess and amend their soil with compost and fertilizer to make it productive. Learn what veggies you can plant in the spring, how to plant them and how to keep them watered. David will also discuss common garden problems and provide easy solutions to get you on your way to a bountiful harvest. Register online.
