Community Event

Tech Panel: Examining Food and Technology

This event has passed.

San Francisco is variously described as a foodie city and a techie stronghold. Is it any surprise then that there are a slew of new companies and businesses that are focusing on how technology can impact on food production, distribution and consumption?

Join us on April 28 when we explore the pervasive questions around this issue with some of the founders and thinkers who are shaping the future of food and eating. How do we solve the issue of food shortages? Should we be focusing on science or logistics when we think about feeding communities? How does big data affect our understanding of where resources should be directed? What does ‘sustainable’ actually mean in relation to the food industry?

This event is 21+; please go online to purchase your tickets.
