South Berkeley Farmers’ Market Cooking Demonstration with Michael Bauce
For the second time this season the Ecology Center Farmers’ Markets’ Cooking Demonstration Series is proud to present Chef Michael Bauce. Michael Bauce has been a member of Alice Water’s School Lunch Initiative and of the Center for Informed Food Choices. He was the main chef at the Macrobiotic Center and Manzanita Restaurant in Oakland and a partner in establishing Organica Restaurant in Berkeley in 1995. He has worked as a cooking instructor as part of the Network for a Healthy California since 1999.

Make Your Own Tortilla Workshop (with salsa & beans)
There will be free recipes and free samples. This series is designed to give people knowledge that they can easily take home and put to use in their own kitchens.
The South Berkeley Farmers’ Market is located at Adeline St. at 63rd Street (just south of Alcatraz Ave.)
