Sierra Club Green Fridays Lecture: Climate Risk, Sustainability, and Global Policy Dialog
Average temperatures in the Earth’s atmosphere have begun an upward trend that is largely irreversible over the next century. Whether these trends lead to moderate or extreme climate change will depend on policy. In this talk, learn about the risks we face around the world, as well as the state of policy dialog on how to mitigate climate change and its associated impacts.
Speaker: David Roland-Holst, Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics.
Green Fridays meets in the Sierra Club Office, Berkeley, on the second Friday of the month. Doors open at 7pm, lecture/slide show at 7:30 til 9. Snacks and drinks.
