Richmond Toxic Tour: Legacy and Resilience

This event has passed.

Andrés Soto, Communities for a Better Environment (CBE) Richmond Organizer, will lead a four hour bus tour that combines Richmond history and the legacy of industrial pollution in the Greater Richmond area as well as the resilience of the people of Richmond to clean up the mess and work towards a just transition to health economy and community not based on fossil fuels.

We will travel through Richmond, North Richmond, Pt. Richmond and South Richmond visiting sites that have historic and environmental significance.

This is a popular family friendly tour with a bag lunch provided. Students of all ages are particularly welcome. Reserve your seats now by an RSVP to Andrés Soto. We will gather at the Richmond Progressive Alliance office (Bobby Bowen Progressive Center). Visit website for details and to RSVP.
