Community Event

Rally and Action for Healthy Communities & Environmental Justice

This event has passed.

As government agencies are trying to give approval to expand the violation-plagued Chemical Waste Management hazardous waste landfill in the suffering town of Kettleman City, communities from across the state are uniting to say “We Are All Kettleman City.”

On October 9th join with Greenaction and a coalition of groups including residents of Kettleman City, Bayview Hunters Point, Richmond, Los Angeles and other communities to demand a healthy environment and justice.

Communities are tired of getting dumped on and contaminated by toxic pollution and government complicity with polluters, and will speak out to tell Governor Jerry Brown, the Cal EPA and Department of Toxic Substances Control to protect people not polluters.

Unite To Demand Governor Jerry Brown & State Department of Toxic Substances Control Get Out Of Bed With Polluters.

“We are All Kettleman City” — Protect People, Not Polluters! No Permits for Repeat Offenders.

Protest at Cal EPA/DTSC (10th & I Streets, Sacramento) & March to the Governor’s Residence.

Meet at 12 noon in front of the California EPA building.
