Rainwater Harvesting Workshop

Learn how to harvest the rain with this hands-on workshop.

Rainwater harvesting saves water, helps prevents water pollution, provides a high-quality irrigation supply, and is an emergency water supply.

Learn about rainwater collection, rain gardens, and rainwater cistern components at this hands-on workshop. Participants will install two 600 gallon tanks, first flush diverter system, inlet and overflow piping, and leaf screens. We’ll also demonstrate how to connect rain barrels together to create a larger capacity storage system with 55 gallon barrels.
