Community Event

OAEC June School Garden Teacher Training

This event has passed.

Are you an educator ready to create and sustain garden-based ecological literacy programs and build a strong cohort of colleagues in the region?

As part of our School Ecological Education Design (SEED) Program, our residential trainings at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center’s 80-acre site in West Sonoma County are for teams of K-12 teachers, garden coordinators, administrators and core volunteers who have a relationship with a specific school/district. We believe that making change in communities is more effective when teams of committed individuals organize together strategically.

To attend our School Garden Teacher Trainings, a team must submit an application, so we can learn more about your school and its needs. Apply now!
