These classes, plus additional Horticulture classes and experience, can lead to a Department-issued Award in Aesthetic Pruning.

Finding the Essence of a Tree
Pruning Maples
Pruning Flowering Trees & Shrubs
The Art of the Focal Point Tree
Pruning Japanese Gardens
The Art of Tree & Shrub Reduction
and several others
Classes are held on Saturdays at the Landscape Horticulture Department, Room H101. Classes begin at 9:30 am and are usually dismissed at 12:20 pm. The fee for most classes is $39.00, and MUST be paid by check. Please register at least 10 days in advance to assure a spot in the class, as space is limited.
