Marine Science Sunday: Magnificent Migrations

This event has passed.

In this presentation we’ll be delving into the great marine mammal migrations that take place along the coast of California. Classroom presentations through interactive activities and multimedia will highlight animals such as the gray whale, which has the longest single migration of any mammal in the world, the Sperm whale, and the Blue Whale, the largest animal in the World.  All of these animals can be viewed off the coast of California so come find out the best times and places to see these magnificent creatures. Find out more at Marine Science Sunday in a fun, educational way for both kids and adults. We recommend teaming our free classroom programs at 12 pm and 2 pm with a Docent-led tour at 11am, 1pm, or 3pm for a truly immersive marine mammal experience.
