Ecology Center Event

Lunch Love Community: Free Brunch with Films + Discussion!

This event has passed.

Three reasons to join us for this special South Berkeley health forum screening of the newly completed LUNCH LOVE COMMUNITY documentary:

1. See and GET INSPIRED with the newly completed stories about how Berkeley is leading the nation with food justice and food reform in our schools and neighborhoods

2. Join us for a free and wonderful healthy BRUNCH prepared by Chef Kathy Russell (and cooking instructor at LeConte School)

3. Connect with GOOD CONVERSATIONS among our special guests, friends, youth and neighbors about health issues in our communities, and how we can continue to protect nutrition education in the Berkeley schools.

Join filmmaker BFPC members filmmaker Helen De Michiel, Community Activist Joy Moore and Heart 2 Heart’s Margarita Guerrero for “Lunch Love Community, a beautiful and engaging new documentary story that explores how a diverse group of pioneering Berkeley parents and activists came together to tackle food reform and food justice in our schools and neighborhoods.”

If each one of you comes or brings a friend or sends a friend, we will make a huge impact!

Healthy bodies. Healthy communities. Healthy planet.
