GMO Awareness Month Film & Discussion: Genetic Roulette
Thursday | October 23, 2014 | 7:00 pm — 9:00 pm
Ecology Center | 2530 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702
Do you still wonder what happened with Prop 37? Well, there are still many grassroots volunteers working to bring transparency and democracy to our food system.
Join us for a night of GMO Awareness with a movie showing of Genetic Roulette by Jeffrey Smith followed by a Q & A with the Bay Area organizers.
Bring your friends, family and anyone you know who eats to learn all about GMOs and the risks we are taking with eating them.
Never-Before-Seen-Evidence points to genetically engineered foods as a major contributor to rising disease rates in the US population, especially among children. Gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, inflammatory diseases, and infertility are just some of the problems implicated in humans, pets, livestock, and lab animals that eat genetically modified soybeans and corn.
