GardenSmart: Worms — The Hardest Working Pet You Will Ever Have

Have a lot of food scraps? Live in an apartment? Worm composting is for you! This hands-on workshop will teach you about the benefits and uses of worm compost. You will learn how to set up a bin, and we’ll discuss harvesting and best uses for this garden fertilizer.

About our speaker: Lori Caldwell is an Alameda County Master Composter, avid edible gardener and Bay-Friendly Qualified Landscape Professional. She has been happily teaching sustainable gardening classes all over the Bay Area since 2007. Her mission is to connect people to the soil and all that it provides.
