Garden to Vases Hands-on Workshop

This event has passed.

All those herbs, leaves, fruits, and flowers from the garden will be turned into beautiful arrangements to bring more beauty to your table.

Meet Michele Riebhoff and Shirley Bolger, both from a family of Californian flower enthusiasts. Shirley is a trained florist and wedding consultant and her daughter Michele is an avid flower arranger and talented crafter. Both will share their gifts and techniques for turning everyday garden finds into beautiful arrangements for your table.

Bring your favorite little vase or mason jar and some of your backyard’s branches and bush clippings. We will also be taking advantage of all Middlebrook Gardens has to offer by foraging some of the natural goodies found there. This is another event which is part of The Red Basket Chef series. The arrangements are going to be photographed to serve as models for the table decorations at the Eating California Fall Harvest Festival fundraising event on September 20.

What to bring: Scissors or garden clippers, little vases or ribbons, good-looking things from your garden.

Space is limited, register online.
