Garden to Table Hands-on Workshop

Come join us for a hands-on workshop where we will share the art of improvising in the kitchen with what is available in our garden. We will incorporate freshly picked ingredients into a fresh organic artisanal pasta. Participants in this workshop and/or in any other of our summer series of hands-on workshops will receive a $25 discount at our Eating California Fall Harvest Festival on September 20th!
This class, part of The Red Basket Chef series in collaboration with ELSEE, will be held by Anna Muggiati, personal chef, food blogger and founder of www.cookplayexplore.com. A native of Brazil, Anna specializes in cooking fresh, local, and organic using contemporary techniques, revisiting old classic recipes from Mediterranean, South American, French and Italian cuisines. She uses minimum ingredients to make truthful food that is good for people and has less impact on the environment.
Participants will create:
  • an artisanal pasta as a base for sauces
  • a freshly picked garden salad
  • a 3-course lunch with plants, seeds, and fruits we have collected.
