Energy Fundamentals: Heat, Moisture and Air

This event has passed.

The relationship between heat, air and moisture are essential in designing efficient, durable and comfortable buildings (commodity, firmness and delight). Yet, Psychrometry is traditionally taught without reference to design. This class will focus on understanding the interaction of heat, air and moisture in understanding human comfort, HVAC, and enclosure design. As designers understand these concepts they will better be able to communicate design goals and, more importantly, how to achieve those goals to their consultants.
