Downtown Berkeley Farmers’ Market Cooking Demo with Chef Stephanie Rosenbaum

The Ecology Center Farmers’ Markets’ 2013 Cooking Demonstration Series features Chef Stephanie Rosenbaum, a Bay Area-based food writer, cookbook author, and cooking & writing teacher. She is the author of the recently published World of Doughnuts as well as The Astrology Cookbook: A Cosmic Guide to Feasts of Love; Kids in the Kitchen: Fun Food; and Honey from Flower to Table. She has worked as an assistant chef at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, at the Marin Sun Café in Point Reyes Station, and for 12 Tribes Kosher Foods in San Francisco. She writes a weekly food column for KQED’s Bay Area Bites and is a regular contributor to Edible East Bay. She has been the lead restaurant critic for the San Francisco Bay Guardian and for San Francisco Magazine. She studied organic farming at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz and holds a certificate in Ecological Horticulture.

This series is designed to give people knowledge that they can easily take home and put to use in their own kitchens.
