Designing Native Gardens for Color Throughout the Year

Saturday | April 26, 2014 | 10:00 am — 3:00 pm

Locations in Oakland and Castro Valley, CA

Join artistic landscape designer Pete Veilleux in a tour of two native plant gardens designed to provide color and beauty throughout the year. You’ll end the day at Pete’s own native plant nursery, East Bay Wilds, which is not regularly open to the public. Tour the nursery with Pete; you may wish to take this opportunity to shop for some of the hard-to-find plants you have just seen. (Cash or checks only.)

This workshop is being held in two Castro Valley front gardens, and the East Bay Wilds Nursery in Oakland
