Daily Acts Community Resilience Challenge Kick-off

This event has passed.

Calling all Community Organizing Rock-stars! The weekend of May 17th-18th our community comes alive with inspired individuals, schools, organizations, municipalities and businesses taking practical action in creating a more healthy, just and resilient future.

Formerly know as the 350 Home and Garden Challenge, the re-named Community Resilience Challenge pushes you as an individual in your community to identify specific actions in one or more of the four challenge areas: food, water, energy and/or community or volunteer on a community project. All we ask is that you register your action so we can show our community coming together to build our local resilience and make visible our solidarity.

On April 2nd, The Challenge needs you to share, inspire, and lead! Come enjoy an evening of discussing the best ways that you, and the organizations you love, can get involved with this year’s resilience-inspired event! We will review basics about the Challenge (the who, the what, and the how) as well as special emphasis on figuring out how we can mobilize group projects in our community (including how Daily Acts can best support these efforts).

We’ll provide snacks, drinks, and tangible ideas for ways you can make your home, garden, and community more resilient!
