Elisa Baier is the founder of Small Spot Gardens, a design/build landscape firm dedicated to helping city residents connect with the natural world. She studied botany as an undergrad and has worked for organic farms, orchards, nurseries and conservation organizations. In 2009, after several years of office work helping farmers with market development, she decided to get back outside and launched her own ecological landscaping business with the goal of creating healthy, vibrant outdoor spaces for people living in dense urban areas.
