Chemicals, Health, and the Built Environment

This daylong workshop will educate members of the green building and design community about how to reduce the use of harmful chemicals in building materials and will assist participants to prepare and present their own PowerPoint lecture on healthy building practices. Flame retardants in foam building insulation will be considered in detail as a model for toxics reduction.

Reduced fees are available for students and members of the nonprofit, government, and academic communities; please inquire at registration. Workshop will be capped at 25. Details and registration online.
