Community Event

Building Community and Meeting Our Needs Without Money

This event has passed.

The current economy pays big bucks for activities that damage the planet and next-to-nothing for things that build community, like childcare, elder care, helping neighbors, feeding people. Timebanking changes all that around.

Want to be part of a vibrant and supportive community?
Need to find ways to help weather financial challenges in an unstable economy?
Want to re-direct your spending to local businesses that share your values while enhancing your quality of life?
Want your services to be valued, even if they aren’t in the current economy?
Saundra Hodges will discuss how reciprocity can enrich our community, re-build the core economy, and create economic and social resilience.

The event is free, and you will be able to make a donation (in US dollars) if you like. Refreshments will be available.
