Berkeley Climate Action Coalition Dinner Convening and Skills Trainings–FULL
Interested in taking local climate action? How can you launch your great ideas, projects, and campaigns from vision to reality? Sometimes it depends on having the right skill sets. Join us for dinner and an evening of skill boosting, networking and dinner, featuring trainings with some of the area’s most forward thinking organizations: the Story of Stuff Project, Communities for a Better Environment, and the City of Berkeley. You’ll come away with new skills for community organizing, media advocacy, and working with local government. This event is intended for those interested in joining the Coalition and getting more involved in climate action.
The evening will include a chance to find out more about the Climate Coalition and get involved with local projects by joining a Working Group.
The Ed Roberts Campus located in South Berkeley, at the Ashby BART Station. 3075 Adeline St (between Tremont and Woolsey Sts). Accessible by the #12 and #49 AC Transit buses.
RSVP required. RSVP by Thursday, 6/12/14, by email or phone.
