Alameda County Master Gardeners Edible Landscape Tour

This event has passed.

Come see unique varieties of Edibles that you can incorporate into your landscape. Interested in getting rid of your lawn? See how you can grow food in that same space and save on your water requirements and provide your family with great food to eat. Experience what a large scale Organic Food Production Garden entails. This Garden provides organic food to the needy and free classes to the public on how to grow your own organic food. Check out what one of our sites has done to eliminate their front lawn and the watering requirements for that space completely. Composting, worm bins, bees, chickens and more. This is your chance to get information on how this is done and see what others are doing to incorporate Edibles into their landscapes. Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10am to 4pm at three locations in Livermore and ONE in Pleasanton.
