Recology San Francisco

Use of the facility is free and for San Francisco residents only. Proof of residency is required (e.g. drivers license). Open Thursday – Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Facility is NOT open Sunday-Wednesday and some holidays.) Residents may also request a pick up at their homes.
San Francisco currently has no pharmacies that accept expired or unwanted medication from residents. SF Mail-In Program – The City of San Francisco is currently piloting a mail-in program for San Francisco residents only. These pre-paid envelopes can hold both liquid and solid medicine and can be picked up at the following locations:
