Willow Rosenthal of City Slicker Farms interviewed by Berkeleyside

Berkeley-based blog Berkeleyside interviewed City Slicker Farms founder Willow Rosenthal around the work she’s done in West Oakland and Berkeley propagating the idea of fresh, affordable food that can be grown locally. (In the last issue of Terrain Magazine, we featured an article mentioning Rosenthal’s work in transforming the backyard of Berkeley resident Sophie Hahn into a flourishing urban farm.) Click here to read Berkeleyside’s interview. In it, Rosenthal mentions that Berkeley is a great resource and inspiration for those interested in food security. She even includes a shout out to the Ecology Center and the Berkeley Farmers’ Markets!
