Annie Leonard has partnered with the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics to bring you the new viral video The Story of Cosmetics. This short film shines a light on the world of personal care products, many of which are loaded with toxic ingredients that cause cancer or harm nervous and reproductive systems in animals. There are terrific resources – like the Skin Deep database – where you can learn which cosmetics are safer to use. But Annie also urges us to take on the system that allows our store shelves to be stocked with toxic products in the first place. Watch the video, then share it with everyone you know!
