Plastic-Free July Workshop #1, 6/29/14

20140626plasticHave you ever tried to cut down your plastic-use? It’s easier to get started with support from those who have done it before, and to stay motivated by joining a group of others to kick the plastic habit together. Get inspired with ideas to reduce your plastic use at Plastic-Free July Workshop #1, Sunday, June 29th. Beth Terry will lead participants in developing plans and priorities for reducing — or eliminating! — plastic consumption during Plastic Free July. This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in learning more about concerns with plastic use, and coming up with their own solutions.

This workshop is designed to be taken home with you! Following the workshop, participants will collect plastics they use to bring to the second workshop on July 13, 2014. This event is part of a whole series of events we’re offering for Plastic-Free July. Click here for details on this Sunday’s workshop. Also, be sure to check out our page with all the information about Plastic-Free July at ecologycenter.org/plastic-free-july. On that page, you’ll also find resources to support you in reducing plastics, including a growing Google Group you can join.
