If you go past Spiral Gardens on Tuesday afternoons, a large black fence and “For Sale” sign may be what you notice instead of the Ecology Center’s Farm Fresh Choice produce stand. The stand is still running though, near the side entrance on Oregon Street. Spiral Gardens is also still running, and not for sale. The tiny triangle of land that they had been using as their front entrance, and for the produce stand on Tuesday afternoons, is actually a separate property that they had permission from previous owners to use. The current owners have fenced it and listed it for sale, so for the time being, the stand and Spiral Gardens have adapted. The situation means less visibility for Farm Fresh Choice, but it is still serving customers fresh, affordable produce. Stop by and support the stand on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 – 6 PM.
