Farm Fresh Choice, Spiral Gardens, and Network for a Healthy California collaborated to pull off a great opening celebration for the Tuesday produce stand. There was a great turnout from new and old supporters, and the new location is looking tidy thanks to two volunteer work parties. Games, spoken word, and a cooking demonstration were all part of this energetic event. Some of our youth interns got to prep and test the recipe for Celebrity Chef Nikki Shaw, and the rumor is that some samplers preferred the interns’ batch. Watch out for these future celebrity chefs!
