The big-ag behemoth Monsanto looks to have pulled the rug out from under their own feet, as superweeds and pesticide-resistant insects reduce the effectiveness of their genetically modified seeds. New reports show evidence of corn rootworm resistance in several states, while Monsanto denies these claims. If Monsanto really has trouble in their horizon, let’s ensure they don’t lay claim to the same “too big to fail” government bailout we’ve seen banks get away with- they get enough of a share of our agricultural subsidies as it is!
