On Sunday, October 14th, seventeen blocks of Shattuck Avenue will be closed to car traffic. Instead, people will be out walking, biking, rolling and dancing through Downtown and and North Berkeley! This event is a short seven weeks away, and we need all hands on deck to help spread the word. We’re looking for volunteers to come to our Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Farmers’ Markets every week until October 14th. If you’re excited about going car-free, or lots of live music and dancing, or a non-commercial community event, then we want you to come and share your enthusiasm.
