Berkeley Community Gardening Collaborative Is Hiring for New Coordinator

20150814bcgcThe Berkeley Community Gardening Collaborative (BCGC) is a network of diverse community and school gardens in Berkeley who share a commitment to organic, urban agriculture, and access to healthy food for Berkeley residents. The beloved long-time leader of BCGC, Beebo Turman, is retiring, and hiring a replacement coordinator. The new Berkeley Community Gardening Coordinator will work to increase food security through the promotion of community gardening, the expansion of urban agriculture, and the serving and support of school and community gardens. The Coordinator provides information and education to the public, and serves as a liaison between community gardens, the City, and the residents of Berkeley.
